Student Ministries at Grace Church of Rootstown
Student Ministries at GCOR exists to aide you, parents, in bringing up your children in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
Our chief desire is that your children come to true saving faith by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We also desire that your children grow in their love for Jesus Christ as they walk in step with Him.
We do this through consistent teaching of God's Word and discipleship.
When We Meet
Sunday Mornings
We meet every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM in the Student Ministries room (below the Fellowship Hall).
What We're Teaching: Revelation, verse-by-verse.
Wednesday Evenings
We also meet Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM in Conference Room #. Teaching typically lasts until 8:00 PM; some of the students may play games in the gym until 8:30 PM.
What We're Teaching: Survey of the New Testament.
***Wednesday meetings follow local school calendars (we don’t meet on Wednesdays during summer).
Q&A Nights
We also offer monthly Q&A Nights at the Fronk's house.
Students usually come with a few questions of their own and our student ministries leadership has a few topics/questions prepared. Questions and topics revolve around theology, evangelism, and current issues from a biblical worldview.
Q&A Nights usually go from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Light refreshments and desserts are provided; your student is welcome to bring something to share.
Dates are scheduled based on student availability, but are usually scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance.
For the Fronk's address and next Q&A date and time, please ask Dan Fronk or contact the church office.
