AWANA Canned Food Drive
By ldaugherty | Filed in Children's Ministry
Beginning November and running through December 2010, Grace Church AWANA program will be hosting a canned food drive. Children in the AWANA program are asked to contribute non-perishable items in an effort to replenish our Hearts to Hands Food Pantry and fill our Holiday Baskets for the needy in our congregation and in the Rootstown area. There will be a contest – Boys versus Girls with shares being earned for each item brought in. Help make this a successful and fun food drive!
Children’s Christmas Program
By ldaugherty | Filed in Children's Ministry“It All Happened in the Country” will be presented on Sunday, December 12, at 6:00 pm in the Worship Center. This is a children’s Christmas musical about some city kids who “find themselves stuck in the country” on Christmas Eve. While stuck out in the “boonies” them “cityslickers” get an”ear-full o’ the gospel”.
