Mission Statement
Women of Grace exists to equip and assist women in applying biblical principles to their life. We strive to provide training, encouragement, fellowship, and service opportunities for women so that they can live a life pleasing to God.
Statement of Purpose
Our purpose is that each woman intimately know Christ, lovingly relate to one another, and advance the Gospel in the individual family and church unit as well as the community. We accomplish these goals through fellowships, retreats, prayer, and service projects.
Women’s Ministry Verse
“. . . Approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.”
~Philippians 1:10-11
Spiritual Emphasis
Hearts in Touch (Secret Sister): Each October you begin to secretly pray for and encourage another lady in the church. After nine months you then get to know your sister one-on-one for three additional months. See Cathy Wilhem for further information.
Ladies’ Retreats: Each spring there is a ladies’ retreat in Amish Country; it is a great time of fun, biblical teaching, and women’s issues. See Betty Harris for further information.
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS): This group meets the first Tuesday and second and forth Sundays of the month, September through May. It is a perfect setting to meet with other ladies of preschool-aged children for a time of encouragement and biblical study. See Heidi Knarr or Cathy Wilhelm for further information.
When Women of Grace Pray: The women meet for a time of prayer to pray for our school-aged children of Grace Church and the local schools on Wednesday evenings. See Sandy Whitely for details.
Women’s Fellowships: Throughout the year we get together for fellowship, fun, and just a “girls’ night out.” Check the bulletin for upcoming events.
Service Emphasis
