Hearts to Hands Food Pantry

Hearts to Hands ministry is a way of physically meeting the needs of our church family. While the primary intention is to assist the individuals and families within this local body of believers, assistance to community members will be used as an opportunity to minister to those in need.

Hearts to Hands food pantry runs on the 1st Saturday 8-9:00 am and the 3rd Sunday immediately following the Worship Service in the fellowship hall.

The food pantry will not be facilitated through the church office. Food from the pantry will be only be distributed on the designated days.

The amount of assistance given will be based on the size of the family, as well as the immediate need. The pantry is designed as an emergency supplement, not a long term solution.

Those requesting assistance will be asked to fill out an information card. Volunteers will gather groceries for that family and information packets will be distributed with the groceries.  Information will include a ministry overview (to any non-members) and county resources.

How You Can Help

The pantry is in constant need of donated items. In order for this ministry to exist, the pantry must be stocked on a regular basis. The early church shared all that they had so that none were in need. This is a practical way of sharing God’s blessings with our family. Simply purchase extra items when grocery shopping and place them in the Hearts to Hands basket located in the foyer. A list of items is included in this brochure.
